Three NEW Paintings! New Loup-Garou D'Automne, Steampunk Pirates, Faces of Faery #33, more.... [Sep. 9th, 2009|05:53 pm]
Jasmine Becket-Griffith
Hi everyone!

I have a FANTASTIC update for you all tonight! Three paintings you've NEVER seen before (well, if you were at Dragon*Con you saw a couple, but not the newest one). Including the first of my "Steampunk Pirates" series as well as the most recent installment in my "Loup-Garou" series and Faces of Faery series (a HALLOWEEN one)I Firstly I have a new original painting for you (starting at just ONE PENNY on eBay!) - the latest from my "Faces of Faery" series (#33) up for ONE PENNY on eBay! Then with "Maritime Sunset" and "Loup-Garou d'Automne" - those originals both SOLD at Dragon*Con, but I now have the Hand Embellished, Lt. Ed. Canvases (the number ones are at ONE PENNY and the others available for direct purchase if you don't want to wait) as well as the 8x10 and 12x16 open editions of both for sale NOW.

Firstly - I took the time to squeeze in one new original painting in between catching up on Dragon*Con orders - the thirty-third painting in my "Faces of Faery" series. Like all of my Faces of Faery - she is READY TO HANG - you don't need a frame - 6"x6" in size and on 2" gallery style cradled masonite, original acrylic painting (not a print of any kind). The great thing about my "Faces of Faery" series of paintings is that they are all the same size and are intended to hang beautifully in a group as well as on their own - for example they make fabulous groupings of several paintings together (once I hung up nine of them on my wall in a square shape and it looked fantastic!). This one is a lovely HALLOWEEN Faces of Faery - a cute violet-eyed witch with a pointy hat and some autumn trees in the background. To see the new original (and all other currently available original paintings) simply click below -she's near the bottom of the page here:

Or directly - here is "Faces of Faery 33" - the original painting itself - and yes, to give everybody a chance, she is starting at just ONE PENNY! PLEASE NOTE - this painting is ending in the AFTERNOON rather than the evening - also, the auction will end two days before I'm back from Atlanta from the art show - but other than that there should be no delay on shipping, so bid with confidence! She's up for a 10-day auction ending the AFTERNOON of Saturday, September 19th, at 4:12PM Central Time, and you can see her here:

"Faces of Faery: 33" (A Halloween Witch!) ORIGINAL PAINTING

Next up - this is a BRAND NEW painting you have never seen before - unless you were at Dragon*Con where I sold the original - the latest in my "Loup-Garou" series, here we have "Loup-Garou: d'Automne". Loup-Garou is French for werewolf, and my Loup-Garou series features wolves in historically French settings, Rococo, etc. This Rococo beauty in a gorgeous dress & hat wanders through an autumn background with her wolf companions. The autumn leaves are flamingly bright - maybe even on fire? You decide! It is my favourite yet in the series. I'm sorry that the original has sold! Howefver I have gone ahead and released ALL prints & canvas prints (#01 and ALL other numbers) right away to help make up for it! And finally yet another BRAND NEW painting you have never seen before - unless you were at Dragon*Con where I sold the original - the first in my "Steampunk Pirates" series, here we have "Maritime Sunset". This painting is wicked cool and I had way too much fun painting it! A large ocean/nautical scene with heavy steampunk imagery - a beautiful girl in her Pirate finery stands getting ready to board a ship resembling a clockwork LionFish against a sepia toned seascape sunset. In the distance, some of you may notice my Anglerfish Submarine emerging - not sure if they're friends with the pirates or the defenders. Also there is an airship in the sky - couldn't help myself! I'm sorry that the original has sold! Howefver I have gone ahead and released ALL prints & canvas prints (#01 and ALL other numbers) right away to help make up for it!
