New Loup-Garou: Pastoral ORIGINAL Painting, also ACEO Cards [Dec. 20th, 2008|09:34 pm]
Jasmine Becket-Griffith
Been INSANELY busy lately. Usual holiday swamp of orders, late nights, and Matt constantly at the Post Office.

Now pretty much all the Xmas-deadline orders are out, on their way, or arrived safely. Thank goodness.

Now we're getting all our stuff ready to haul up to KC for the holidays! Got the shopping done, now just need to do the usual "switching household" preparations to transition to the house up there for a couple of weeks. All the basic stuff like making sure all the computers have the same hard-drives and same print & order files, etc. Making sure all the unshipped stuff is at the right house. That stuff =P Hehe, lucky Azrael and Mama Wolf get to go on another road trip - they're gonna love that (yeah, right!).

It's nice though, it's the first year that we haven't had to shut everything down for Christmas, since we have both houses now setup as printing/painting/shipping centers. Also just confirmed today that the highspeed internet is up and running there now thank goodness too, so I should be able to keep up better =)

For now though - the new art!!!!!

I have a brand new original painting for you - the second in my "Loup-Garou" series! I also have a handful of brand new ACEO Cards for you as well!

First off is "Loup-Garou: Pastorale" - the new original painting! "Loup-Garou: Pastorale" - I just finished this one tonight - the second installment in my "Loup-Garou" (French for Werewolf) series of paintings. For the past couple of years I've done an artists retreat in France and I've gotten a lot of inspiration from them. My Loup-Garou paintings all have French theme to them - I painted a beautiful Burgundian landscape in the background of this one - along of course with the magnificent Wolf (werewolf?) and his lady companion (another werewolf? Vampire?) - I love this piece! Rather large, 16"x20" it is an ORIGINAL painting on a cradled masonite panel, 1.5" thick - READY-TO-HANG (gallery style, no frame is necessary). It's up on eBay starting at just ONE PENNY with no reserve for a 10-Day auction ending the evening of Tuesday, December 30th at 8:21 PM Central Time . You can see it below - click on the little picture to see the whole thing with details:

Now for the new ACEOs - for more info about ACEO cards, how I make them & what they are (basically tiny hand embellished one of a kind canvas prints, trading card sized and highly collectable), consult the individual auction descriptions - they are each one of a kind, hand-painted with accents by me, the artist, and are awesome! All are each starting at a penny, with no reserve for ten-day auctions ending on the evening of Tuesday December 30th, 6:00PM - 6:09PM Central Time:
