Porthole Mermaid [Sep. 6th, 2007|06:10 pm]
Jasmine Becket-Griffith
"Porthole Mermaid" is her name - one of the most unique and special paintings I have ever offered!

A beautiful, brilliantly coloured underwater scene, it features a curious mermaid and some tropical fish friends. It is a round (circular) painting, and guess what - it is FRAMED in an actual chrome metal port hole window frame! It really unscrews, opens & closes, and is READY TO HANG! Yes, you get the FRAME too! With this on your wall, it's kinda like being on a submarine, looking out a port hole window and seeing a mermaid gazing back at you! Creatively framed by my wonderful husband, kaokame, (he worked hard figuring out how to make my idea work, hehe). I don't often offer pictures that is already framed, or ready-to-hang, so this is quite special.

Again - this is the original painting, on a sheet of illustration board. I have finished the piece with a glossy varnish and it looks amazing! This piece is 100% ready to hang on your wall (the porthole has been outfitted on the back with framing wire, just like any picture frame!). - and it is up on eBay starting at just ONE PENNY with no reserve for a 7-Day auction ending the evening of Thursday, September 13th at 5:36PM Central Time. Here's a sneak peek - click below to see the whole picture....
