Only hissed at him a few times? Sounds like it's going well! Zorro, my cat, freaked out when I brought Amazu home. Now they're cuddle buddies :)
Mama Wolf sounds adorable! Are you keeping the name?
I'm so happy that they get along, I was really worried about that. They seem to be having a lot of fun, Azrael has turned into a kitten again.
Yep! We're keeping the name "Mama Wolf" - I think it's cute, and it suits her.
What a gorgeous Medusa!!! I love all the different kinds of snakes you used!!
Thank you Dawn! I had a snake identification guide to inspire me, lol - most of them are imaginary snakes though.
Wow Jasmine! Your new kitty sounds so sweet! She sounds like she might be a Maine Coon. Or be partially. We have a Maine Coon, his name is Barbarossa. And rather than meowing like a kitty he usually coos like a dove or makes this odd chirping noise. It's great. :)
Medusa looks AWESOME! My boss went as Medusa for halloween. She had her hair up in curls and snakes made out of pipe cleaners and googly eyes. It was great! She even had one two-headed on in there hee hee.
I really love the eyes in this piece, they really give a mysterious vibe! :)
Awww! How cute!
Definitely - I was looking at cat pictures online and I'm sure she is pretty much Maine Coon (brown mackerel colour). She has the "foot tufts" in between her toes and the feather duster tail. She is small though, but that is probably because she was feral and had a couple of litters of kittens before age two, that most likely stunted her growth.
The new painting is beautiful, and I hate snakes, but you made them loook beautiful. And CONGRATS on the new kitty!!!! They are such amazing creatures, and they bring such joy to our lives. Everytime one of my kitties passes on, I just think that somewhere another kitty needs me, and it looks like there was a kitty that needed you and Matt. Post some pics of her soon!! :)
Thank you Becca! Hehe, I love snakes =) Man, they take forever to paint though.
I love kitties too - how is yours doing now?
I can't wait to see your new Mama Wolf. That sounds like a name Theo would come up with.
It does sound like something Theo would say, lol.
Right after you guys left, Mama Wolf & Azrael came downstairs and have been hanging out with us the whole time. I think they could sense that Theo & Ellie were gone, hehe.

I love this painting!
This is a beautiful painting. I love it. You continue to make me just go blank. Just when I think you have done your very best on the last few. WOW! You are amazing.
Have a question for you too! What kind of scanner do you recomend? Which do you use? Bruce was nice enough to get me a combo deal for Christmas. Just doesn't seem to scan great clarity. Let me know when you have prints on this new painting! I just love it and so does Kelsey!

Re: I love this painting!
Also forgot to say Congratulations on Mama Wolf- You and Mattie are the best parents! She couldn't have gone to a better home.
I keep getting tempted to get an African Grey..... Bird. They are so talkative......
Yay, I'm so glad you rescued a kitty!!! She's a very lucky girl to have such a great home, I can't wait to see some pics! Azrael must be so excited!
Thank you Michelle! Azrael is like a kitten again, they seem to be having a lot of fun together. I love Mama Wolf!
Welcome Mama Wolf! I bet Azrael will be so happy!!
Medusa is GORGEOUS! I love the look of her face! It has a very unique look!
Thank you Misty!
He is so happy to have a companion again. We love her so much already.
=) thank you!
We love her so much!
I can't wait for her to show up in one of your paintings!
I will bet you capture her completely!
(Just as she has captured you!)
Thank you Selina!
I definitely want to paint her!!!!!
We love her very very much =)
awww what a sweet kitty! my brothers kitty doesnt meow either, its so cute! but shes teeny, hehe.
LOVE that painting, if I had 1k to spend on other things besides plane tickets that would be SO mine! ^_~
She is such a sweet little cat. She is fitting in perfectly with us, what a good girl she is!
hey...mama wolf is gorgeous! i had a sneak pic at the link for her. i really respect that you and matt chose a cat rather than a kitten to adopt - quite often people only want kittens cause they're little and cute and the big cats get left behind...
i'm sure she'll be the star of one of your paintings in the near future! *hint hint nudge nudge*
Thank you so much!
I am a big proponent of pet adoptions, it is an important issue with me, I always choose adoption =) Grownup kitties need love too, hehe.
Definitely - I am planning to paint her soon!
She has adjusted really well, we love her so much already. I can't hardly believe that she was a feral rescue, she is so well-behaved, uses her litter box & scratching post every time, and loves us to death - she is always purring! I'm so thankful that she is getting along well with Azrael too, that is a relief.
Awwww...Mama Wolf. Her babes are pretty cute too.
Medusa is lovely.
=) She is such a good girl too. We love her so much!
Awe, what a cute kitty! Her colors are very pretty. I'm trying to find a puppy off of that site. Hopefully, I will get lucky. =)
I'm glad you got her.
Hmmm... looks like someone has a new playmate. ;)
The painting is gorgeous honey. =)
Thank you Jessica =)
Petfinder is a great site! My sister & her husband just found their doggie through there too.
We love Mama Wolf so much already, and so does Azrael! =)
