Oh my gosh Jasmine this is beautiful! Her face is just exquisite! The eyes, the nose, the mouth, it's all perfect. I know you put so much effort into the dress and the dragon, but my eyes keep getting drawn back to her face. The whole thing is so great, I may actually order a print of it!
Holy cow Jasmine you totally floored me with this one! I love it! Your talent is truly shining through here. The details of the face alone are astounding!
>^___^< Thank you Jayde!!!!
Beautiful painting! She's very dreamy!
Bougainvillea was one of our color names last season & it took me FOREVER to be able to pronounce that! ha!
I love impatiens! I got some red/white striped ones last summer. I probably will go get more stuff for the balcony in the spring (since all my plants/flowers died this winter).
Thank you Lisa!
Bougainvilleas are one of my favourite flowers - they have such BRIGHT colours and down here they bloom all year 'round, I love them.
Awesome!!!! All the detail is mind-boggling, & I love her eye & lip color & the skin tones of her face--very soft & creamy looking! =)
She's wonderful, her face is so delicate and I love her hair colors!
And happy gardening!
Thank you so much Michelle!
Jasmine, she is so gorgeous! =)
i love how no matter what they always have you in them :) she looks so much like you, and i mean she actually looks like she is thinking, just brilliant work. the details are phenominal, her face is SO amazing, and that dragon looks like it could slither right off the page. just wow...
have fun gardening! that sounds like a blast : be sure to take pictures when everything is set up!
Hehe, try as I might they end up looking like me a little bit!
I will, I am proud of my backyard now - before it was just kind of, blah - and now it's going to be a real "secret garden" type of thing!
Stunning! I really love the purple eyes!
Thank you Candace! I wish my eyes were that colour!
Pearl Dragon Princess is gorgeous!!! I LOVE her eyes. They totally draw you in, and all the detail makes you stay and stare forever!!
Little Red Bows is too cute. I love the way the hint of red just pops!!!
Pink and Pretty is pinkalicious!! ^^
Thank you so much Dawn!!!
I really really like the new look to some of your art-such as this Pearl Dragon Princess. Her eyes are so realistic and yet so Jasmine-styled still. Lovely work!
Thank you so much! =) I'm going to try to incorporate some more realism from time to time in my artwork, I enjoy it a lot.
You should-you're really good at it. The incorporation of realism into your stylized works is definitely an intersting addition and I look forward to viewing more and maybe picking up another piece from you at Dragon Con this year too. :)
Wow you have been busy:) I love the colors! Amazing.
I'm the type of person who is happiest when I'm busy, I think....
This one's very different from most of your others. The face is really stunning, and her clothing is amazing. I like her eyes, especially. The only thing is-- her hand is a little distracting. The face, clothing, and hair are all so wonderfully rendered, but the hand looks a little strange, like it's got much less detail and realism put into it. All in all, though, I was damned tempted to bid. Stupid money imps, always hiding the dough. *fuss*
Happy new year, by the way!
Thank ou Kat!! I loved working on this one =)
You're right, the hand is awkward - but I (kinda) meant it to be intentional - a lot of Tudor portraits have weirdly stilted and sized hands, sorta goes with it.
Damn those money imps, they need to stay out of my piggy bank!
oh my!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This painting is aching to be in my home!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You painted this for me, right?? You can't just sit there behind your computer reading and say wellll.......no! You just can't!!! This painting along with all the others but this one painting should win close to a million dollars. I know if I had that million, I would grab it!!!! You did get my order today, right? What do you think of my ideas? Do you have something else in thoughts of how I should do it? Whatever you suggest!!! Plus when I get it framed, I am thinking of shipping the border to you to sign, so it can be added to the painting!!! How about that idea?? Love ya like always, but even more!!!!! Laura
Hi Laura!!! I wrote you back! =)
Hehe, that's the good thing about prints =) She works really well for your LiveJournal icon too.
I'm always happy to sign things - I've had people send me stuff to sign before many times. The oddest thing I've had to sign was a lady's leg - she had a tattoo of my artwork and wanted me to sign with pen, and then the tattoo artist would go over the signature, hehe.
Talk to you soon!
she is sooo pretty! Love all the colors!
