Two Original Paintings, Quan-Yin, etc. [Mar. 23rd, 2006|06:32 pm]
Jasmine Becket-Griffith
I'm slowly getting back to normal after my trip. I can't get over what a great time I had. I have photos and details to share when I get a chance. However it also meant a week without work so I don't have any "new" paintings to share with you quite yet (but I have some amazing pieces in the works, believe me!). And you know me, I always have to have paintings up on eBay, especially with climbing vetrinarian bills (my poor little Quan-Yin is in the kitty hospital right now, please keep her in your thoughts). So instead I just grabbed some of my paintings from my eBay store and I am offering them to the public for auctions starting at just ONE penny with absolutely no reserve. These are two fabulous pieces, so this is a great chance to get your hands on them (and help out with the vet bills at the same time, hehe).

Both are up for a 7-day auctions, ending on the evening of Thursday March 23rd starting at one penny with no reserve!

The first piece is my "Pirates in Paradise" original!. It is one of my largest paintings to date (a whopping 30"x24"!!!) and is one of my BEST selling prints! It features a gorgeous tropical Caribbean scene with some cuuuuute pirate girls. It is an acrylic painting on a cotton canvas sheet measuring 30"x24" and she is up on eBay starting at one penny with no reserve for a 7-day auction ending on the evening of Thursday March 30th ending at 6:56 PM Central Time.
You can see it here:

The second original piece is the 12th installment in my very popular "Alice in Wonderland" series! From the "Pig and Pepper" chapter, I give you a wide eyed Alice holding a wiggly piggy - "Alice and the Pig." She is an acrylic painting on a cotton canvas sheet measuring 12"x16" and she is up on eBay starting at one penny with no reserve for a 7-day auction ending on the evening of Thursday March 30th ending at 7:06 PM Central Time.

I have a lot of work to do catching up from my trip, and my poor kitty to worry about, my mother-in-law staying at our house for her vacation, etc., but you can expect some new paintings from me in the near future. I have a lot of new ideas and great new insights into my artwork after Larry's class/retreat, so they should be some very exciting pieces. I'm sorry I have to turn the comments off on my post - I have so much emails, etc. to catch up on my head is about ready to explode.
