Morgan le Fay (and other good stuff!!!) [Jul. 18th, 2005|09:24 pm]
Jasmine Becket-Griffith
I finally finished her!

And she is beautiful =)

Why don't you take a look for yourselves? Click below....

"Morgan le Fay at Sunset"

She's one of my best, and certainly one of my largest, hehe. I included a pic of myself to show how big it is compared to me!

What else do I have....

I have some #01 Limited Edition Hand-Painted Canvas prints.......click on their names to see....

"A Fairy Feline Friend"

& "Unwelcome Visitors"

& "Guardians of Treasure Cave"

and then some SALE prints:'

"A Fairy Feline Friend" 8x10 $10.00 Open Edition Print

& "A Fairy Feline Friend" 12x16 $20.00 Open Edition Print

and then since I'm in an Alice-y mood... ;)

"Alice and the Dormouse" 8x10 $10.00 Open Edition Print

& "Alice and the Cheshire Cat" 8x10 $10.00 Open Edition Print

Whew! I am off to eat or drink something. I've been an art zombie for days.

Thank you very much! It was a commissioned painting for a tattoo tradeshow, hehe. It is one of my favourites too.

Morrigan is kind of a darker aspect of Morgan le Fay - I should do a complementing piece showing her dark side sometime...

Thank you Bonnie! At first I just had the leaves swirling, and then I added the flowers as an afterthought - they turned out wonderfully!

Your painting of Morgan le Fay is very much how I pictured her when I read "The Mists of Avalon." She's a strong, intense person. Great painting!

Wow, she's huge and so detailed. What wonderful work! I can definitely see you've been an art zombie--you've had no time to be a human being with all of that painting.
