She's gorgeous! Looks like a Fairy Goddess. :-)
So beautiful! With the leaves in her hair and Roman-ish outfit, she reminds me of a warrior. ^_^
Thank you Jasmine! I agree - she has a very strong look to her!
i agree with above noters. she does resemble a goddess. when i first saw her i thought of the goddess Athena. very beautiful painting! :)
I liked her from the start, that is one thing I have good taste when it comes to art. She looks like a goddess that silver and gold go well, she will look perfect next to my snowspell print. Jasmine wish you would take it slow and easy and rest when you can this flu thingy and cold can come creeping back,,, Take care of yourself. Sharon..... Feel well and get better..
Thank you Sharon!! I've been taking it easy - usually I work until way after midnight, but I cut it out at about 10pm last night and just chilled out on the couch for a few hours. This morning though I've been catching up on paperwork =P
So this is the finished product!
I was wondering what she was going to be.
(having watched it go from blank canvas this morning to the inital sketching...missed the detail painting part... :-( )
the colors are so bright & magical.
Thank you for watching, hehe! It always makes me happy when I know people are peeking in on what I'm working on =)
Thank you so much!
I was spying... & trying to find out your secret painting tricks... *evil grin*
Absolutely gorgeous. She is such a pretty one, Jasmine.

C'est dommage que votre site est en anglais ! .... j'adore vos peintures !
Je suis désolé! J'habite en Amérique ainsi je parle anglais principalement.
Merci des compliments! Les peintures n'exigent aucune langue :)
Feel better Jasmine ! Drink Echinecea tea.
Thank you Robyn!
Actually I did! I also had some gummi bear vitamins that contain echniacea (and gummi goodness). It may have helped - I am much improved today =)
Herbal remedies and preventatives are pretty amazing and cool.
I grow Echiniacea in my Northern Garden, purple coneflower, it's one I have often taken photos of and sketched. They are really tall and beautiful, and of course the leaves are good to chew on if you feel a cold coming on or similar. I wonder if it grows in Florida, it is a perennial in the North, if it does grow it is a good addition to anyone's garden who is interested in herbology. Another good addition would be several types of mint, but mint can be invasive, so sometimes it's best to plant mint in containers. :-).
She's gorgeous!!! I hope you feel better sweetie!!! *HUGS*
Thank you Dawn! I'm feeling much better today (not quite up to par, but close!)
She is beautiful! The painting invoked an imagery of THE fairy goddess way up in the sky over seeing all the fairies on the earth. So regal, beautiful, and a sense of serenity. Love it!
Thank you so very very much! >^___^< I couldn't ask for a better compliment!
Ah, just what I needed this birthday morning. She is just beauteous, Jasmine! I especially love the color of her eyes (if I could have any eye color this would be it!), her penetrating gaze, and the way you painted her hands so delicately. Magical.
Oh, and thanks for posting your mailing addy. I'll be sending a few tea surprises soon.
Oooh! Thank you so much!!!
(And happy birthday to you Angelique!)
Lovely! Lovely! Lovely! Did you use some metallic silver and gold paints to highlight this faery painting? (It's so hard to tell from photo.)
Thank you very much!
Nope, I just use shades of yellow, blues, black & white acrylic paints - the effect is almost metallic though!
She's stunning! I love her...*drools*
Hope you are feeling better. I've got an upset tummy today..not fun!
I hope that you feel better as well!
I donot know what LJ should be used for but, before you send the prints I would like Glistening Mermaid if you can do it in 11x13 size. Instead of a small print, please e-mail me ASAP when you can I know your not feeling well. Sharon
Hi Sharon =) Already emailed you, hehe!
She's cute! Hey, was she 3rd elf from the left behind Orlando in LOTR? hee hee
LOL - she's totally a High Elf!
A wonderful painting, Jasmine...I love it! Silver and gold really is such a beautiful combination, and you've done such an incredible job on it. ^_^
Sorry you've been sick. Your new painting rocks!!! ;-)
She looks so royal!
I hope that you feel better soon!!
